The “S.E.I.” Trademark is dedicated to certifying that industrial packaging—with this label— complies with the “TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR PACKAGING INDUSTRIAL MATERIALS” as defined by the Trademark Management Committee.
The S.E.I. Trademark is the exclusive property of the SEILA (Union of Industrial Packaging and Associated Logistics), it is non-transferable and unseizable.
Control of the SEI Trademark has been entrusted to an independent, authorized body.
Use of the Trademark is granted to member companies applying for it, following an audit that includes:
The study and conformity of the manufactured packaging with the general conditions of execution stipulated by the Trademark Management Committee and the technical specifications of the TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR PACKAGING OF INDUSTRIAL MATERIALS issued by the B.T.E.I (TECHNICAL BUREAU FOR INDUSTRIAL PACKAGING),
The review of the production resources available to the applicant,
The submission of the insurance contract(s) certifying that the company's contractual liability is properly covered, in accordance with Articles 10, 11, and 12 of the CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS GOVERNING THE DEFINITIONS, EXECUTION, AND GUARANTEES RELEVANT TO S.E.I CERTIFIED INDUSTRIAL PACKAGING.
